Aquamarine - March's Birthstone

The birthstone of March is aquamarine, "ocean water". It was traditionally worn by sailors to protect them and their voyages, and was believed by these sea-fareres to come from the treasure chests of mermaids. It also promised to bring love, health and energy to those who wore it. Aquamarine is a stone of courage. Its calming energies reduce stress and quiet the mind. Aquamarine clarifies perception, sharpens the intellect and clears confusion (it would have been a great stone to ward against Sirens!).

Kimono Catwalk Trends - Spring 2015

Do you love the 2015 Kimono Style that's all the rage lately? The kimono-shape, which was recently seen everywhere, has namely taken the form of the kimono jacket, as seen from Celiné Spring Catwalk 2015! It's all about the cinched-in waistline - delicate and feminine.

Designers Gucci, Matthew Williamson, Celiné, to Carven and Rochas have played around with the style to make it new, sophisticated and chic. Celiné mixed the cut jacket with a pair of tailleur pants for an ultra-strong power-woman look, Gucci went for a more laid-back denim style, and Matthew Williamson brings the resort wear flair we didn't know we craved!  

 We adore it!!

But what do you wear with it? Aside from the obvious, Chunky BELT, here's a few of our favorite pieces to pair with a rich, oriental inspired outfit:
